Different Series and Differences of Atlas Bipods

V8
These bipods are among the first and original models that introduced the patented features of Atlas bipods to the market. Key features include pre-tensioned rotation and tilt, five adjustable height positions from one leg, and a 45° leg angle. They feature rotating legs, 6061T6 aluminum inner leg, 15° +/- total tilt, and 15° +/- total rotation. Highly competent legs for general use across many applications.

PSR
The PSR (Precision Sniper Rifle) series bipods are updated models from the V8 series, developed into their own line following the USSOCOM Precision Sniper Rifle bipod contract. The main differences from the V8 series include non-rotating legs, additional front and rear support, and a 40% stiffer 7075-T6 aluminum inner leg. The same 15° +/- total tilt and 15° +/- total rotation features remain. As the name suggests, this is an excellent leg for a PSR rifle.

CAL
The CAL (Cant And Loc) is designed for shooters who do not need the rotating feature on a bipod but require just a cant. All other leg features are the same as the PSR. For tension adjustment/lock, there is a quick-access "Pod-Loc" lever. The footprint is also wider at the 90° angle compared to the V8/PSR models. The BT65 inner leg is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, while the BT69 model uses 7075-T6 aluminum. The legs are non-rotating like those in the PSR series. More tilt is available, namely 22.5° +/- and 45° total tilt. Thanks to excellent lateral and front-back support, these are excellent bipods for functional shooting. In rapid situations, the legs are always straight and provide good support during quick transitions.

Super CAL
This series is the bigger brother of the CAL series, designed and developed for the largest calibers and heaviest firearms for extremely long-range shooting. They are about 50% larger, but the features in settings and legs are the same as those in the CAL series. The very wide leg positioning provides excellent support for large tactical rifles.
