Silent Steel is a Finnish manufacturer of firearm components. Their products are designed to meet the needs of action shooters, hunters, law enforcement, and military personnel. The manufacturer has extensive experience with firearms and continuously listens to feedback and needs from end-users to provide the best possible products. Some products are developed in collaboration with SWAT teams. Silent Steel Ltd is a member of AFDA (Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries).

Silent Steel has focused heavily on research regarding gas-operated self-loading rifle silencers. Their innovative silencer structure allows gas and pressure to escape through the suppressor directly forward. There are no traditional baffles inside the suppressor that obstruct the gas flow and cause excessive back pressure or other issues in self-loading rifles. The gases are forced to circulate inside the suppressor, maximizing their dwell time inside. The circular motion continues throughout the suppressor, allowing the gases to cool as much as possible before exiting the front ports. The gases are also forced to collide within the suppressor, preventing the expulsion of hot gases at the rear of the bullet.

The swirling gases automatically tighten the suppressor upon firing, which prevents it from loosening. Therefore, there is no need for separate ratchet mechanisms in the suppressor attached with QD quick detach. The QD suppressor features M27x1.5 threads, which are also found in Silent Steel's muzzle brake and flash hider. The structure and heat-resistant O-ring prevent combustion gases from entering the threads. With these features, removing and reinstalling the suppressor is effortless. Thanks to the conical design at the front of the threads and the self-tightening suppressor, it always attaches in the same position, minimizing any change in the point of impact. The symmetrical internal structure ensures that the effect on the bullet remains consistent from all sides, keeping the trajectory unaffected. Typically, shooting with this suppressor changes the point of impact by 1-4cm directly downwards at a distance of 100m. Models that attach directly to the muzzle are also available.

The shortest and lightest suppressor in the series. Designed for users seeking the most compact package. Provides a brake-like feel in the firearm while significantly reducing noise and flash. Suppression power of 10-15dB.

The full-length suppressor in the series. Best in flame and sound removal. Length of 19.5cm and weight of 580g for the steel version. Well-suited for hunting and situations where maximum sound reduction is desired. Available in both through-hull and traditional baffle designs. Unique in the series, with a baffle suppressor also available for .65 caliber.
