COMBAT KNIFE BLADE
Sharp, long-lasting blade at 12.5 cm which can easily be sharpened when necessary.
Typically, high carbon steel is susceptible to corrosion and rusts easily without proper care. However, in the case of the combat knife, the properties of high carbon steel, such as corrosion resistance, have been enhanced with various coatings.
A hard but still tough blade and versatile sharpening make the combat knife a tool that performs well in various situations. However, it should not be used as a striking tool, and heavier logs are better processed with an axe. It is suitable for smaller wood and tasks like clearing brush.
The knife blade features a PTFE / Teflon coating that protects high carbon steel from rust and reduces friction and dirt adhesion. This coating also meets food safety certification requirements. This feature is appreciated by anyone handling food, game, or fish with a knife.
COMBAT KNIFE HANDLE
The ergonomic handle of the combat knife is designed to function under varying conditions. Textured for grip and comfortable feel; this handle remains securely in hand even when wet and does not feel cold in cooler weather.
TPV (thermoplastic vulcanizate) does not absorb moisture and is resistant to chemicals and temperature fluctuations. The material withstands dents and wear almost indefinitely.
COMBAT KNIFE SHEATH
One of the combat knife's standout features is its innovative sheath solution. Thanks to a rubber roll mechanism, the knife fits securely in the sheath but can be quickly drawn with one hand using the thumb for assistance when needed. The Velcro-fastened belt loop of the sheath is compatible with MOLLE and PALS systems, providing numerous carry options. Carry the combat knife attached to the straps of a backpack or vest. Sometimes it may be necessary to suspend the knife unconventionally. The sheath allows for even upside-down carry, for example in combat gear.
A leather sheath offers a traditional alternative to the composite version. A leather sheath is also available for left-handed users. A version adorned with the Lion coat of arms representing Finnish spirit is also available.
