An excellent tool for both outdoors and military use. You can rely on this! The M07 model has a 12.5 cm blade length in a black finish and a thermoplastic rubber handle.

A good knife is safe to use. It fits comfortably and securely in your hand and efficiently bites into the material being worked. A good knife is complemented by a proper sheath; one that keeps the knife securely in place even in tough conditions, yet is quick and effortless to draw when needed.

SISSIPUUKKO BLADE

The sharp blade, which retains its edge for a long time at 12.5 cm, is easy to re-sharpen when necessary.

Normal carbon steel is prone to corrosion and rusts easily without proper care. However, in the case of the Sissipuukko, the properties of carbon steel, such as corrosion resistance, have been enhanced with various coatings.
The hard but resilient blade and its versatile geometry make the Sissipuukko a tool that performs well in various situations. However, it is not designed for striking tools, so it's best to use an axe for larger logs. It is suitable for smaller wood and for clearing brush, for example.

The blade features a PTFE/Teflon coating that protects the carbon steel from rust and reduces friction and contamination sticking to the blade. This feature also meets food safety certification requirements. This is appreciated by anyone handling food, game, or fish with the knife.

SISSIPUUKKO HANDLE

The ergonomic handle of the Sissipuukko is designed to perform under various conditions. It offers texture, grip, and a comfortable feel; this handle stays securely in your hand even with wet fingers and does not feel cold in cooler weather.
TPV (thermoplastic vulcanizate) does not absorb moisture and is resistant to chemicals and temperature fluctuations. The material withstands impacts and wear nearly indefinitely.

SISSIPUUKKO SHEATH

One of the key advantages of the Sissipuukko is its innovative sheath design. Thanks to the rubber roll mechanism, the knife fits securely in its sheath but can be drawn out quickly with one hand assisted by the thumb when necessary. The Velcro strap on the sheath is compatible with MOLLE and PALS systems, providing plenty of carrying options. Carry the Sissipuukko on the straps of your backpack or in a vest. Sometimes it may be necessary to hang the knife in a non-traditional way. The Sissipuukko sheath even allows for upside-down carrying, for example, in combat gear.

The Kydex sheath is made by the Lithuanian company TRC Knives. While it lacks the composite and leather sheath's roll mechanism, the Kydex sheath securely holds the Sissipuukko and allows for quick access when necessary. The durable and waterproof sheath conveniently attaches to the user's belt.
