Silent Steel QD A2 Flash Hider

A2-style flash hider with QD threads for attaching to Silent Steel suppressors. Port adjustments for improved recoil management. The flash extinguishes most effectively when all ports are fully closed. Comes with a shim kit and adjustment screws.

The cone in front of the threads ensures a consistent mounting point for the suppressor, maintaining the point of impact consistently and minimizing change (read more).

The Silent Steel QD flash hider features an M27x1.5 thread on the outer surface for attaching to the Silent Steel suppressor. (The brake does not have locking teeth suitable for Ase Utra suppressors).

The flash hider with 1/2x28 UNEF threads is compatible with the 5.56 caliber. (The material is soft enough for a gunsmith to drill an 8.5 mm hole in the flash hider, allowing it to also fit the 7.62 caliber).

The flash hider with 5/8x24 UNEF threads is compatible with both 5.56 and 7.62 calibers. (Exit hole diameter is 8.5 mm)
