Designed to the specifications of 6-time US National Champion Nils Jonasson, this basepad updates our Plus-4s for the Rival/Mete models!
What's new?
Over-penetration issue SOLVED (higher shoulders prevent the basepad from wedging "too far in" and halting the slide.
On the Mete and Rival, standard basepads often over-penetrate. Occasionally, the magazine can get stuck "too far in" and block the slide.)
Flattened back allows for super-quick reloads off the table.
Max 140mm length = +4+ capacity (optimized for maximum USPSA gauge compliance)
New traction cuts on the sides align with the slide cuts on the Rival
Compatible with both TF and Canik magwells.
IMPORTANT: These are designed for competition, so they REQUIRE the wide-open magazine well found on the 2021-2023 Mete, Rival, and Rival-S models! They will NOT fit earlier or later Canik models!
IMPORTANT: Verify your serial number! This basepad is compatible with most full-size Mete and Rival pistols with serial numbers starting with 21, 22, or 23.
Canik modified the magwell shape in 2023, so some 2023 models and all 24-series (and later) models require the “Signature” or original versions instead.
(Otherwise, the magazine won't lock into place smoothly.)
