Haix Tapio is a high-top hiking and hunting boot with a wide fit suited for Finnish feet.
Exclusively made for the Finnish market, it is designed specifically for Finnish conditions. The upper material is breathable and water-repellent 2.4 - 2.6 mm strong oiled nubuck leather, which also protects against various chemicals.

The rubber-polyurethane composite sole, Haix Safety 2000, is completely resistant to oil and gasoline.
The tread pattern provides excellent traction even on wet and cold surfaces. However, in extreme cold, the soles may harden and become slippery.
The sole's PU cushioning component Haix-MSL® (Micro-Soft-Light-System) does not darken.

The sole offers excellent torsional rigidity and supports the arch, making the boot outstanding for any terrain: it supports the foot in all conditions.
Good roll-off ensures excellent walkability even on hard surfaces.

The interior of the shoe is lined with a waterproof 4-layer Gore-Tex laminate Cambrelle® fabric.
This material is particularly abrasion-resistant, hygroscopic, and promotes moisture evaporation and breathability.
The padded lining prevents chafing and blisters.
The insoles are anatomically shaped and machine washable.
They absorb moisture well and dry quickly.

The shoes feature a Micro Dry cushioning plate inside the upper part, part of the Haix air system.
There are no unnecessary seams inside that could cause chafing, and the construction is highly durable.
The rubber toe cap protects the toes, and the specially reinforced lace fasteners ensure the laces do not come undone during hikes.
