Safariland 6354RDSO holsters are designed for firearms equipped with red dot sights. The RDSO series holsters feature an open protective pocket for the red dot sight, distinguishing them from the RDS series holsters that have a folding dust cover. The holster employs the Automatic Locking System (ALS) for secure retention, classifying it as a Level 1 holster. (The lock can be released with a simple motion of the thumb.) The barrel plug keeps the firearm straight, without requiring an additional light.
Compatible with the Glock 17 pistol as well as the Streamlight TLR 1 and Surefire X300 lights.
The holster comes standard with a QLS 19 (Quick Locking System) fork, allowing for quick transfer between mounting points that have a QLS 22 or QLS 22L dock.
The holster accommodates a red dot sight that is up to approximately 30 mm high from the center, measured from the slide surface of the firearm. The red dot pocket curves upwards about 25 mm from the sides.
