Actions related to shooting and hunting can often be dangerous due to explosive ammunition and pressure, which is why it is absolutely important to protect your vision against damage and fragments, etc. Visual impairments can include blindness, visual disturbances, nerve damage and temporary visual disturbances. When shooting on the range, the biggest danger is usually the shrapnel from the rubber bands. They can return in the shooter's direction several tens of meters away, even if decent targets intended for shooting are shot. You have to understand that, especially in Finland, the older generation is used to shooting / operating in many situations without protection, which is why hearing (less often vision) is already significantly damaged. Due to 'peer pressure', many situations lead to the avoidance of protection. You can easily lose your sight all of a sudden, so if you want to enjoy the wonders of life with peace of mind, get your eye protection in order.
