Red dots
For quick situations, a red dot is the perfect choice. Allows for a wide aiming view.
The suitability of red dots for pistols, shotguns, and rifles! The advantage of red dots is that you can shoot with both eyes open. This keeps the entire aiming view open and makes you more aware of your surroundings. This allows for much faster shooting.
Uses of red dots for action shooting:
- If distances are primarily short, a red dot is a good primary sight due to its speed. It's almost mandatory in the open class with a pistol!
- If there is more distance, it is still worth having a red dot as a backup or for quick situations. It's good to set it, for example, with a 45° mount next to the rifle.
Uses of red dots for hunting:
- For hunting drives, a red dot is the perfect choice. For example, in wild boar hunting, nothing beats a red dot. It's definitely worth watching Wild Boar Fever if you haven't seen it yet. Great clips!
- In bush stands and for dog handlers, the dot is also a good choice. Results are guaranteed!
- For bird hunting, it's also a suitable option for shotguns.
Mounting red dots or illuminated sights is mainly done as follows:
- For pistols: Machining or rail
- For rifles: Directly on Picatinny rail or with a 45° mount.
- For shotguns: Directly on the rail or with a mounting piece .
