Like the Sako Blade, the Blade Pro is also equipped with the terminal ballistic Blade tip. Due to its construction, the Blade Pro offers top-tier penetration capabilities and rapid expansion, ensuring reliable stopping power even at lower velocities for shots taken at longer distances. Its effective performance level is designed to operate on both soft tissue and bone impacts.
The Blade Pro features a better Ballistic Coefficient (BC) than the Blade. A higher ballistic coefficient means improved impact energy, reduced wind drift, and a more stable trajectory, resulting in overall better accuracy at longer distances.
Sako Blade vs. Sako Blade Pro
The optimal impact range for the Sako Blade is around 100 meters, while the optimal impact range for the Blade Pro is approximately 300 meters. The Blade Pro is not a replacement for the Blade, but rather a new addition to the range of monolithic bullets and cartridges, providing an alternative for long-distance hunting.
