DAA AR-15 Racer Gen2 Magazine Pouch
The DAA AR-15 Mag Pouch GEN-2 is built upon the proven performance of our AR-15 Racer Pouch and incorporates key design elements from our Glock and MPX PCC magazine pouches.
The pouch body is injection molded from durable, fiber-reinforced nylon to ensure strength, uniformity, and precise fit.
Two adjustable retention screws allow you to fine-tune the grip of the magazine to your personal preference.
AR-15 magazines can be positioned in the pouch with the cartridges facing either forward or backward, and the grip is equally secure in both orientations.
The pouch works seamlessly with both polymer and metal AR-15 magazines.
The angled top edge facilitates quicker and smoother magazine insertion into the pouch – ideal for demanding “pickup” stages (where the magazine is picked up from a table).
The pouch body is fully ambidextrous, allowing the attachment of the belt mount ball joint on either side and in two different height positions.
The large ball joint is secured with two fastening screws and custom-made steel T-slot nuts, ensuring exceptional strength and long-lasting durability.
The GEN-2 belt mount is precision machined from anodized aluminum and engineered to match the rigidity of our pouch’s ball joint system.
Compared to the mounts for our pistol magazine pouches, it features a significantly larger and stronger construction,
designed to withstand the greater torque forces exerted by longer AR-15 magazines and generally popular horizontally mounted magazines.
The ball joint system allows for precise angle and orientation adjustment.
This enables you to position the magazine according to your own draw and magazine change technique, improving both speed and consistency of performance.
The belt mount includes a removable spacer to fit both 1.5" and 1.75" belts.
The fastening screws tighten against a wide steel plate, ensuring maximum stability on your rig.
