Sharpening:• First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone in the direction of the edge until a "twist" forms at the edge.• Grind the twist away using the smoother side of the stone.• Use water during sharpening.• Clean and dry the blade thoroughly.• Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid demanding re-sharpening sessions. Care for the Sheath:• Treat the knife sheath with leather conditioner as needed. Knife Maintenance:• Do not wash the carbon steel knife in the dishwasher.• Always dry and clean the blade after use.• Store the knife in its sheath in a dry place.• Treat the carbon steel occasionally with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
