Sharpening Instructions:• First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone in the direction of the edge until a "twist" forms at the edge.• Remove the twist using the smoother side of the sharpening stone.• Use water while sharpening.• Clean and dry the blade.• Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid requiring intensive re-sharpening later. Care for the Sheath:• Treat the knife sheath with leather conditioner as needed. Knife Maintenance:• Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher.• Always dry and clean the blade after use.• Store the knife in its sheath and keep it in a dry place.• Occasionally treat the carbon steel with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
