Sharpening Instructions: • First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone in a crosswise direction until a "wire edge" forms on the blade's edge. • Remove the wire edge using the smoother side of the sharpening stone. • Use water for the sharpening process as well. • Clean and dry the blade. • Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid demanding one-time sharpening. Sheath Maintenance: • Treat the knife sheath with leather conditioner as needed. Knife Maintenance: • Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher. • Always dry and clean the blade after use. • Store the knife in its sheath and keep it in a dry place. • Occasionally treat the carbon steel with cooking oil or paraffin oil.
