Sharpening Instructions: • First, grind both sides of the blade with a coarse sharpening stone at an angle until a "twist" forms at the edge of the blade. • Remove the twist with the smoother side of the sharpening stone. • Use water during the sharpening process as well. • Clean and dry the blade. • Regularly sharpen the knife to avoid the need for intensive sharpening. Sheath Care: • Treat the knife sheath with leather conditioner as needed. Knife Maintenance: • Do not wash the carbon steel knife in a dishwasher. • Always dry and clean the blade after use. • Keep the knife in its sheath, and store it in a dry place. • Occasionally treat the carbon steel with food oil or paraffin oil.
